Inhale beauty, exhale gratitude.
“Gratitude for the present moment and the fullness of life now is true prosperity.” ~ Eckhart Tolle
Our Vision
This site was inspired by middle school students in rural Canton, NY with a vision for the people of this planet to exist in harmony with open-mindedness, perspective, non-judgement, and recognition that we all want the same things… peace, health, safety, fairness.
Our goal is to provide a “positive vibes only” social media platform as well as information on how journaling gratitude is a meaningful and effective way to improve wellness and be more conscious. By journaling in a public format we believe we can connect and provide validation for each other.
Our Story
Mrs. French is a 6th grade science teacher at Canton Central School in the far north rural regions of New York State. She created this site as part of a “positivity project” aimed at encouraging connections and unity.
“After 25+ years of teaching I’m seeing and feeling the most ‘conscious,’ kind, empathic, reflective, enjoyable youngsters that I’ve ever seen in my career. My 2024-25 class will graduate the year I plan to retire. That will be the year 2031 and I will have 34 years experience teaching middle school. As I write this, the class of 2031 is in my hands daily and I ADORE their young spirits and energy. I’m honored and grateful to have the opportunity to connect and learn from each other in terms of an appreciation for life, curiosity, creativity, open-mindedness, perseverance, optimism, and love. We are especially inspired by Eckhart Tolle and David Attenborough and hopeful that we can do a small part in raising the vibration of humanity to improve the life force that exists on and for the planet. That is our mission with this ‘online gratitude journal.‘”
More about the children:
Mrs. French’s 6th grade class represents a small population of youth at J.M. McKenney Middle School. Each youngster introduces themselves and what gratitude means to them. To protect the privacy of the pre-teen youth involved in this project the students changed their name to a “handle” they created.
